OCLC EMEA FTP server mailing-lists

Mailing-lists are used for monthly password distribution of FTP group accounts.
In order to receive new FTP group passwords, you must be subscribed to the
mailing-list for that particular group.

If you are currently a mailing-list subscriber to any FTP group, it is not
necessary to re-subscribe to that group. In other words, current subscriptions
remain valid.

Below is an overview of all groups :
       cbspsi         gum            iport         lbs3
       lbs4           lbsmaint       ouf           sybase
       sybupdate      tolk2          trainmod      winibw

Request a mailing-list subscription by sending an email to  ml@oclc.org  with
the text "FTP" (without the quotes) in the subject-field. The body of the email
must contain one of the following keywords :

   SUBSCRIBE    = <group-name>
   UNSUBSCRIBE  = <group-name>
   STATUS     [ = <group-name> ]

The SUBSCRIBE keyword

   Used for requesting a subscription for the specified FTP group. You'll
   receive a confirmation when the subscription is granted.
   Example: SUBSCRIBE = LBS3

The UNSUBSCRIBE keyword

   If you are already subscribed to a group, use this option to remove 
   your email-address from the distribution list. You'll receive a 
   confirmation when the subscription is deleted.
   Example: UNSUBSCRIBE = LBS3

The STATUS keywords

   Request information about the groups for which the email-address has 
   a subscription. When no group name has been specified, information 
   about all subscribed groups is returned.


Important note:
When requesting a subscription, or unsubscribing, or requesting status
information, the email-address of the sender is used.

Request mailinglist usage information by email by sending an email to  
ml@oclc.org  with the text "HELP" (without the quotes) in the subject-field.
